VINEYARD: 3 Ha in Matelica, at 600 mt altitude. 10 to 30 year old vines, 5.000 plants x Ha., the topsoil is composed of yellow sand rich in quartz, over a block of compact basaltic stone. 100% Verdicchio.
WINEMAKING: Grapes are handpicked around the end of October and fermented into white wine in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature with ambient yeasts; The wine ages for 5 months on its lees in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature, to prevent malolactic fermentation.

Verdicchio grapes were hand-picked the first week of October and fermented at controlled temperature into red wine after short maceration on the skins into stainless steel tanks. The wine aged in stainless steel vats for eight months before being bottled and released on the market. |
