VINEYARD: 4 Ha in Radda in Chianti, at 550 mt altitude. 30 year old Sangiovese and Canaiolo vines, espalier training-system, 4.500 plants x Ha. 90% Sangiovese, 5% Canaiolo, 5% Colorino.
WINEMAKING: Grapes are handpicked the first week of October and fermented into red wine in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature with ambient yeasts; maceration last for 7 days. The wine ages for 12 months in 30 Hl Slavonia oak casks prior to bottling and release on the market.
