VINEYARD: 1 Ha in a historical site located right below the ancient walls of Montepulciano, at 500 mt altitude. 25 year old vines, espalier and Guyot training-system, 4.500 plants x Ha. 70% Trebbiano toscano, 30% Malvasia del Chianti.
WINEMAKING: Grapes are late-harvested the first week of November and fermented into dessert wine in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with selected yeasts. The wine ages for 12 months in French oak barrique, prior to bottling and release on the market.
