VINEYARD: 24 Ha in Greve in Chianti, at 400 mt altitude. 35 year old Sangiovese and Cabernet vines, espalier training-system, 4.500 plants x Ha. 50% Sangiovese, 50% Cabernet Sauvignon.
WINEMAKING: Grapes are handpicked the first week of October and fermented into red wine in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature with ambient yeasts; maceration last for 15 days. The wine ages for 18 months in French oak tonneaux prior to bottling and release on the market.
