Cipressaia – Chianti Docg
Cipressaia is located in the outskirts of Firenze, in the Colli Fiorentini Docg appellation, comprised of 20 Ha estate vineyards, planted with Sangiovese and Canaiolo grapes for the most part.
The winery takes advantage of the agronomic as well as enological consulting provided by Matura & Co., supervised by well-regarded agronomist Attilio Pagli.
Besides Chianti Docg and Chianti Colli Fiorentini Docg, Cipressaia also produces a SuperTuscan wine, Toscana Igt Borgoricco, a full-bodied blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. Decanter Magazine recently rated the 2004 Chianti Colli Fiorentini Docg 4 stars.
