Il Poggiolo – Carmignano
Il Poggiolo is a wine estate situated in the prized Carmignano appellation, an ancient wine appellation sandwiched in between Chianti Classico and Tuscany’s beautiful coastal region.
The cellars are situated in an ancient aristocratic cellar built in the Renaissance epoch, renewed and upgraded in 1991. Estate vineyards stretch over 7 Ha all concentrated around the villa.
Thanks to the optimal location of the vineyards and the technical consulting provided by well-respected agronomists and enologists, Il Poggiolo ranks among the prime producers of Carmignano.
The one and only wine produced here is Carmignano Docg, a classic blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
