Urciuolo Flli

Urciuolo Flli – Fiano & Greco Irpinia

Urciuolo Fratelli is a new producer in the Irpinia region of Campania, where Fiano di Avellino, Greco di Tufo and Taurasi are produced. Young brothers Antonello and Ciro Urciuolo founded the winery in 1996 to bring back to production the family vineyards, abandoned since their grandfather Peppino had passed away in the late 80s’.

Urciuolo Fratelli is championed by Gambero Rosso 2006 as the most promising new producer operating today in the Irpinia region of Campania, thanks to their collection of old vineyards in prized sites such as Atripalda and Montefredane.

The wines are vinified in the cellar by Carmine Valentino, a well-respected enologist in the region with a fine hand on native grapes such as Fiano, Greco, Falanghina and Aglianico.
